We must free Beauty — Now!
Life’s front pages cry foul!
She is hidden away
As brutes drama the play.

Something is sure amiss,
Fired winds have lost her kiss.
She rises from the seas
Plasticized as the bees.

Where’s her loveliness’s clue?
Oh, green leaves, skies of blue,
Gardens of mind and land:
Still time to hold her hand.

Dens of hypocrisy
Mock her Democracy
Struggling neath power’s plow!
We must free Beauty — Now!

OUR JUSTICE LIVES ALIVE!

Our Justice lives alive
In Beauty’s focused eyes:
Truth and Justice aligned
Forge life’s most blessed design.

Justice is harmony
Lived as breathing daily.
It makes life’s pieces fit
Solves the puzzling of it.

Someday our Truth will come
And Beauty’s freedom won
As Justice’s gavel
Steadies meaning’s level.

Every Truth-gem’s worth
Shines by Justice’s stealth,
And when Beauty’s in love
Our Justice lives alive!

SOMEDAY OUR TRUTH WILL COME!

Someday our Truth will come —
Steeple bells chimed in tune;
All choirs sing Earth’s best song:
All hands clasped to belong.

Someday the clouds will part,
The bright sun warm each heart;
Soft rains swoon to heal:
Flowered blooms all can feel.

Someday our Hope will come,
Like rafters hold our home;
Come like flames for the hearth:
Be the Breath of our health.

Someday there will be praise,
Faces in unison raised;
Minds in concert as one —
Someday our Truth will come!

[These three were shot from my literary canon in response to Trumps call for four elected women to “go back where they came from.” This energized the chant from his MAGA base regarding the Muslim Omar — SEND HER BACK – SEND HER BACK-SEND HER BACK. — As in many of Trumps episodic fractures of American Democracy and Decency for the sake of White Nationalism/Supremacy — this racist one, too, had No Beauty — No Justice — No Truth. He engenders an Hyprocracy-Power (sp. – Mine) over our Democracy of Freedom and E Pluribus Unum. HYPO over DEMO. We may not like the Truth to Come.] — mdok —
